Dharamshala — Chinese authorities arrested Tulku Dorje Ten Rinpoche, Director of the “Dorje Ten Ethnic Vocational School" in Jigdril County, Golog, north-eastern Tibet, on December 4, 2025, and his whereabouts remain unknown. After arresting the Director, the Chinese authorities shut down the school and sent the students back to their homes. More than 1,000 students have graduated from the school and hundreds of students are attending universities. The school had more than 1,300 students in 2024, but like other Tibetan-run schools, it has also faced difficulties and has been threatened with closure from the Chinese government since 2024.

Dharamshala — Chinese authorities have re-arrested Tibetan singer A-sang after briefly releasing him in August 2025. He had been arrested in early July after singing a praise song to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, entitled ‘Prince of Peace’, on the occasion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's 90th birthday in July 2025.

Dharamshala —The Chinese authorities in central Tibet are brainwashing Tibetan children in the Chinese colonial-style boarding schools, taking them to the Chinese military museum, imposing the ideas of Chinese leaders on them and forcing them to undergo military training. These activities are clearly aimed at depriving Tibetan children of their Tibetan identity, religion and culture.

Dharamshala — While constructing the railway line connecting Chengdu to Lhasa, the Chinese emptied the Tibetan mountains and transported tons of minerals by truck during the night, forbidding Tibetans from approaching the mountains for fear that they would discover their secret. They dug up five mountains in a single village. How many mountains did they dig, and how many more will they dig to extract minerals from Tibet during the construction of the 1,629 km railway line connecting Chengdu to Lhasa, Tibet?

Dharamshala — Chinese authorities in central Tibet continue to force Tibetan children to undergo military training in the name of "education for the national defence". Children aged five to eleven are forced to run long distances, climb mountains, jump over high barriers, and perform other training exercises.

Dharamshala — The Chinese government has officially renamed Tibet to so-called “Xizang” in order to erase Tibet from the present world and history. “When you write Tibet on social media, the word Tibet is automatically replaced with ‘Xizang’ or deleted,” said a Tibetan writer from Tibet. This move further intensifies the suppression of Tibet and its identity.
