Dharamshala — While constructing the railway line connecting Chengdu to Lhasa, the Chinese emptied the Tibetan mountains and transported tons of minerals by truck during the night, forbidding Tibetans from approaching the mountains for fear that they would discover their secret. They dug up five mountains in a single village. How many mountains did they dig, and how many more will they dig to extract minerals from Tibet during the construction of the 1,629 km railway line connecting Chengdu to Lhasa, Tibet?

Dharamshala — The Chinese government has officially renamed Tibet to so-called “Xizang” in order to erase Tibet from the present world and history. “When you write Tibet on social media, the word Tibet is automatically replaced with ‘Xizang’ or deleted,” said a Tibetan writer from Tibet. This move further intensifies the suppression of Tibet and its identity.

Several state-controlled media outlets have claimed that this extended holiday period allows Chinese citizens to enjoy eight days off to travel and relax. However, in contrast, stricter restrictions were immediately imposed in the occupied territories, particularly in Tibet, East Turkistan, and Inner Mongolia, under pretexts such as illegal driving, lack of driver's licenses, or overloading vehicles with passengers.
