Dharamshala — In recent months, the Chinese authorities have organised various activities to Tibetan children in Chinese boarding schools in Tibet, to make Tibetan children think in Chinese, be loyal to the CCP and learn Chinese ideologies, especially Chinese President Xi's thought . These activities include instilling of "the sense of national security", "children's heart towards the party (CCP)", "children's deep love for the motherland (China)", and training Tibetan children in “law enforcement” and “national defence”.
On October 15, 2024, the Chinese armed forces held a “National Security Education‘’ in all primary schools in Changgo (འཕྲང་སྒོ) Township, Saga County (ས་དགའ་རྫོང་།), Shigatse, Western Tibet, to propagate “national security education” and “train personnel in promoting national security”. The aim is to strengthen the sense of “national security” among young Tibetans, to disseminate “national security education” in schools and to promote national security by training staff.
The Chinese authorities organised a summer camp for police children and their parents, with the aim of training young children for the police of tomorrow, who will be able to continue arresting and beating human rights defenders, Tibetan language advocates and Tibetans exercising their freedom of expression and faith in religion.
The Chinese police in Ngari (མངའ་རི) Prefecture organised the summer camp for police children and their parents for the first time on August 27, 2024, entitled “Police Children Go to Police Camp” and “Children's Heart towards the Party (CCP)”. More than 40 police families and their 60 Tibetan children were brought to Ngari police station, to educate police children and let them experience the life of a police officer at the police station, to instill patriotism in police children as well as to encourage police children to become police officers when they grow up.
Furthermore, on September 11, 2024, the Chinese authorities brought young Tibetan students to a military camp situated within the Lhasa region and the students underwent training in the so-called "six expansion activities," a program designed to prepare them for eventual military service.
The Chinese authorities also conducted activities to propagate the Chinese Constitution and laws in all schools in Quxu county (ཆུ་ཤུར་རྫོང), southwest of Lhasa, in the main center of Chengguan, Tibet, on September 16-17, 2024. The aim of these activities is to deepen the implementation of the Constitution's provisions and strengthen the constitutional awareness of young Tibetan students.
The Chinese government intends to make Tibetan children think in Chinese, be loyal to the CCP and learn Chinese ideologies, especially Chinese President Xi's thought, through these activities and propagations, which often take place in Chinese boarding schools. The Chinese government carries out these activities with Tibetan children on a daily, monthly and yearly basis, with the aim of erasing Tibetan identity, culture and traditions, and eliminating Tibetan religion and language.
