Tokyo – House of Councillors of the National Diet of Japan passed a majority resolution on Monday condemning China's violations of human rights and religious freedom in Tibet and East Turkestan. The resolution expresses deep concern about the grave human rights situation in East Turkestan, Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Hong Kong and other regions.

Tibetans urged Australian government and legislators to adopt policies to protect succession of next Dalai Lama
Canberra — Tibetans in Australia launched the Tibet Lobby Day and met with members of Parliament. They urged legislators to pass a reciprocal access law and asked the Australian government to develop a policy to protect the succession of the 14th Dalai Lama without any interference from the Chinese government.
