Dharamshala: - The Spice Global Chairman, Bhupendra Kumar Modi addressed members of the press on 11th June at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. He met the spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama earlier in the day.

Dharamshala: Zhu Weiqun, part-time director of the Office of the Central Tibet Work Coordination Group and Vice-Minister of the United Front work Department since 2009, has been replaced by Zhang Yijiong. Zhang, 67, is Han Chinese by nationality, as Zhu was.

Dharamshala: Samdhong Rinpoche, a former prime minister of Tibet's government-in-exile, has arrived to South Korea to attend the World Fellowship of Buddhists conference in the southern city of Yeosu, in a rare visit by a leading Tibetan official.

Dharamshala: An international group of parliamentarians have called for solidarity with Tibet, on June 20, 2012 as a means of highlighting the ongoing human rights abuses taking place within Tibet.
