Tibetan Home minister Meets Indian Officials in Orissa

4august20101Bhubaneshwar: – Mrs Dolma Gyari, minister (Kalon) for the department of home, Central Tibetan Administration met senior state authorities of Orissa to resolve land issues and foster harmonious relations between the local Indian and Tibetan communities.

According to the Central Tibetan Administration media, Tibet Net, she met Shri. Bijay Pattnaik, Chief Secretary, Shri. Upendra Nath Behera, Home Secretary and Shri. R.K. Sharma, Secretary of the forest department on 28 and 29 December.

Kalon Dolma Gyari also attended a state-level conference of minorities and backward communities titled 'JATI JANAJATI MUKHIA'S SAMMILLAN' on 30 December. She was invited as the chief guest.

She spoke about the Tibetan exile community and the Tibetan people's harmonious co-existence with the local Indian population for the last 5 decades. She thanked the central and state government of India for the hospitality provided to the Tibetans.

Kalon Dolma Gyari was accompanied by Chime Rigzin, additional secretary of the Department of Home and Chonor Samdup, the settlement officer of Orissa Tibetan settlement.
