Dharamshala — The Initiatives for China (also known as the Citizen Power for China), a grassroots movement dedicated to advancing a peaceful transition to democratic governance in China, recently applauded Mongolia’s decision to allow His Holiness the Dalai Lama to visit the country to teach Buddhism.

Saitama, Japan – His Holiness the Dalai Lama visited the Saitama Medical University, Japan on the 26th of November. He first went to offer condolences to the family of Maruki Kiyohiro, Chairman of the University, who recently passed away.

Frankfurt, Germany – Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay, the democratically elected political leader of the Tibetan people, was received by Tibetan communities in both New York and Frankfurt during his international tour.

Beijing, China – United Nations secretary general-elect Antonio Guterres called for human rights to be respected unequivicolly on a global level on Monday, November 28th during his first visit to Beijing.

Ulaanbaatar — The spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama met with members of the Mongolian media, concluding his ninth trip to Mongolia on November 23rd.

Dharamshala — The International Network of Parliamentarians on Tibet (INPaT), a network of parliamentarians, applauded the Mongolian government for enabling His Holiness the Dalai Lama's visit and urged Buddhist countries around the world to emulate the courage shown by the Mongolian government and its people.
