Court issues arrest warrant for Xi Jinping for crimes against humanity in Tibet

Hague — The judges of the Court of Citizens of the World recently held a ‘tribunal on China’ and the Court found sufficient legal grounds to charge the criminal Xi Jinping with crimes against humanity in Tibet; the forcible transfer of Tibetan children; imprisonment or other serious deprivations of physical liberty; and persecution of the Tibetan population. Therefore, the court has issued an arrest warrant for Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The Court of Citizens of the World‘ Tribunal for China began in The Hague, Netherlands, on July 8, with a victims’ hearing held on Sunday July 7, 2024. The judgement took place on July 12, 2024, and Zak Yacoob, the Presiding Judge, the Hon.Amb Stephen J.Rapp, Judge for the Tribunal, Bhavani Fonseka, judge for the Tribunal from the Court of Citizens of the World has found sufficient legal grounds to charge the criminal Xi Jinping with crimes against humanity in Tibet, genocide and crimes against the Uyghur population in East Turkestan.

The former Tibetan prisoner Dhondup Wangchen, the former Tibetan prisoner Golog Jigme Gyatso, the former Tibetan prisoner Tenpa Dharjee, Nyima Lhamo, niece of the famous Buddhist leader Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, who died in Chinese prison as a result of torture by the Chinese authorities, the Tibetan MP Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar, the Tibetan politician Kelsang Dorjee, as well as members of the Uyghur community, Chinese, Taiwanese and Tibetan activists from free countries, testified about the crimes committed by Chinese President Xi Jinping against humanity in Tibet, East Turkestan, China and Tawain, at the victims' hearing held on Sunday July 7, 2024.

The Court of Citizens of the World announced that "the Court has found sufficient legal grounds to indict crime Xi Jinping for crimes against the Humanity in Tibet inlcuding the forcible transfer of Tibetan Children, imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty and persecution of Tibetan population."

"And for Genocide and Crime against the Uygur population in the East Turkistan including 1) Genocide 2) imprisonment or other serve to liberty 3) torture 4) rape and sexual violence 5) forcible transfer Uygur children 6) forcible transfer of force labour 7) persecution 8) enforced disappearance," the court added.

"The Court of the Citizens of the World calls on the international community and all governments, to issue an arrest warrant against the President of the Peoples Republic of China, to start offcial trials and to take measures to arrest the perpetrator (Xi Jinping)," the Court concluded.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his government have implemented oppressive policies against Tibetans in Tibet, with the aim of eliminating Tibetans' distinct religious, cultural, linguistic and historical identity. The Chinese authorities arrest, torture, imprison and even kill Tibetans who express their own opinions and exercise their fundamental rights, such as the right to equality, the right to freedom, the right against environmental exploitation, the right to freedom of religion and cultural and educational rights.
