Dharamshala: - A latest US Congressional report on China has warned that a key communist party official's recommendation that the Chinese government should abolish ethnic minority status could “adversely affect the Tibetan people’s cultural and linguistic identity.”

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama told a group of students from China and the College of William & Mary in Virginia, yesterday, that the Tibetan people are seeking genuine autonomy within the framework of the Chinese constitution; they should not be misled by the Chinese government propaganda on the issue of Tibet.
