Dharamshala— Recognising the unwavering valour and steadfast resolve of Tibetans residing in Tibet who fearlessly voiced their dissent against the repressive policies of the Chinese government, the members of the standing committee of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile paid solemn tribute yesterday to those Tibetan protesters.

Dharamshala: A crowd of 300 Tibetans and Tibetan supporters including Ms. Dolma Gyari, the deputy speaker of Tibetan Parliament in exile gathered at the main temple in Dharamshala, to pay their respect to Former Union Minister, Shri George Fernandes, Shri Ajay Singh, former Deputy Union Minister along with his wife and say thank you India for hosting the Tibetan community in exile the past 50 years.  Tibetan NGO’s Gun-Chu-Sum, Tibetan Women’s Association, Students for Free Tibet, Tibetan Youth Congress, and the National Democrat Party of Tibet, sponsored the event.

Dharamshala: Hundreds of Tibetans including monks and nuns living in exile in India celebrated the 25th birthday of His Holiness 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorjee with long-life prayers in Dharamshala Yesterday. Dharamsala: Six members representing four parties of Nepali Parliament paid a visit to Dharamsala, India where the Tibetan government in exile is based for the last 50 years. During the yesterday's press-conference the delegation expressed its intention to soon held a discussion on the rights of Tibetan refugees in the constitution of Nepal.

Dharamshala: Upwards of 3000 students laughed as His Holiness focused his attention on the three individuals in front of him debating in the Buddhist philosophy.  The audience was comprised of Tibetan youth from various schools and colleges across India, they crowded into the auditorium to listen to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 3rd Introductory discourse on Buddhism.

Dharamshala: Under the organization of Yungdrung Bon religion committee the 10th round of debates on ancient Tibetan religion (Yungdrong Bon) was held in Menri monastery from 14th to the 21st of this month. The debate was organized during school holiday to enable 130 students from colleges across India to attended. The intention of the forum was to encourage better understanding of the Tibetan Bon religion among the younger Tibetan generations.
