Dharamshala, India — The 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile on Monday, October 11, 2021, approved three women among the five members nominated by President of Central Tibetan Administration(CTA), Penpa Tsering, to be ministers in the 16th Kashag (Cabinet). The three women, Dolma Gyari, Norzin Dolma, and Tharlam Dolma, were approved by a majority of the parliamentarians at the Tibetan Parliament session.
Tibetan activists protest against China on it’s 72nd founding anniversary

Sikyong unveils a statue of late Tibetan soldier Nyima Tenzin
Dharamshala, India — A statue of late Tibetan soldier Nyima Tenzin was unveiled by Penpa Tsering, Sikyong of Central Tibetan Administration(CTA) on August 30, 2021. "The martyr statue of the late Nyima Tenzin was erected in memory of all the Tibetan soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty for the security of India," said the Sikyong.
