DoE lauds Class 10 results: "This year's results have broken all previous records"

Dharamshala, India — While congratulating all the students for their exemplary performance in Class 10, the Dharamshala, India-based Central Tibetan Administration's Department of Education (DoE) has lauded "this year's results for breaking all previous records by producing cent percent results".

"The Central Board of Secondary Education" (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 results for 2021 on its official website on Tuesday, August 3. A total of 1226 students from 27 Tibetan schools in India are participating in Class 10.

"The average percentage this year is 62.87, a slight increase of 0.49% over last year's results," the DoE said. "In addition, 29 students from 10 schools scored above the 90th percentile and 10 students scored above the 95th percentile.

"Four Tibetan students from "THS Mussoorie" and two Tibetan students from "STS Bylakuppe" will receive this year's Sikyong Excellence Award from the Central School for Tibetans, Herbertpur. Apoorvi Rawat topped the class 10 results with 98%."

The DoE also praised the "support and efforts provided by parents and teachers despite facing great challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic."

"Out of the 20,97,128 candidates registered across the country, 20,76,997 have qualified for higher education." "According to the CBSE, this year's CBSE 10th result recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.04%.

The CBSE does not release the results for Class 10. "As per the Board's practice, the Board will not produce a result sheet for Class 10 results in 2021," the Board said in a notification. As a special case, the board will not declare a 0.1 merit list for each student's subject nor will it issue merit certificates to students, it added.
