His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet meets EP delegation on Europe Day
Dharamshala, India — A European Parliamentary delegation arrived in Dharamshala, India on Monday on a six-day visit during which its three members met with the spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on Wednesday.

Dr Lobsang Sangay served as the Tibetan Prime Minister in exile from 2011 to 2021. He is the first person without a monastic background to hold this position. He was born in 1968 in a refugee community in Darjeeling, India.
