Dharamshala — The Tibetan Center for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) based in Dharamsala, North India Thursday says "China continued its egregious human rights violations and abuses in Tibet by criminalizing basic human rights and freedoms.
Berlin — Nyima Lhamo, niece of respected Buddhist monk, Tenzin Delek Rinpoche who died in prison in July 2015, met German Human Rights Commissioner Dr Bärbel Kofler and the Tibet Group in German parliament and urged them to to arrange for an independent fact-finding delegation to visit Tibet and assess the situation in Tibet, especially Chinese prisons in Tibet.
Geneva — Officials said the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is undertaking a major effort to strengthen human rights advocacy for Tibet at the United Nations, particularly in the lead up to the 34th UN Human Rights Council beginning next month.
