Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama leaves New Delhi today from Dharamshala to travel to the United States, spending one night in Switzerland. This time, he will be travelling to the United States for medical treatment for his knees.

Dharamshala — When the bipartisan US Congressional delegation came to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the representative Jim McGovern said, “When our delegation including Nancy Pelosi visited in Tibet in 2015, we met with the Tibetans there and learned firsthand about the Chinese government's repression, it was horrible and we will never ever forget it.”

Dharamshala — When the bipartisan delegation from the US Congress came to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, said, “The Resolve Tibet Act says to the Chinese government things have changed now, get ready for that. Holiness the Dalai Lama with his message of knowledge, tradition and compassion, purity of soul and love, he will live a long time and his legacy will live forever, but you President of China, you will be gone and nobody will give you credit for anything”.

Dharamshala — Central Tibetan Administration held a public felicitation event to honour the members of a high-level bipartisan delegation from the US Congress on Wednesday. Rep. Gregory Meeks said during the event, "We all are here to call on the government of Beijing to immediately cease its countless violations of human rights of Tibetans. It’s time for Beijing to resume dialogue without preconditions with His Holiness and his representative in order to reach a negotiated resolution that leads to meaningful Autonomy for the Tibetan people."

Dharamshala — Central Tibetan Administration held a public felicitation event to honour the members of a high-level bipartisan delegation from the US Congress on Wednesday. Representative Michael McCaul said during the event, "Chinese Communist Party continues to threaten the freedom of the Tibetan people, and they have even attempted to insert themselves into the succession of the Dalai Lama, but we will not let that happen."

Dharamshala — USA bipartisan Congressional delegation, led by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, arrived at Gaggal Airport in Dharamshala on June 18, 2024.They will meet with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, senior officials of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) and attend a public celebration organised by the CTA on June 19, 2024.

Auckland — Tibetans and Tibet supporters have strongly protested against Chinese Premier Li Qiang's visit to Wellington and Auckland in New Zealand and called on the Chinese government to respect human rights and demand freedom in Tibet. During the peaceful protests, Tibetans were subjected to physical violence and harassment by pro-Chinese government individuals, which represents Chinese transnational repression in the free world.
