Dharamshala — on the 30th anniversary of the Panchen Lama's disappearance, Tibetans and supporters in India, the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Britain, Netherlands, Australia, Italy and Switzerland protested against the Chinese government's abduction of the 11th Panchen Lama in Tibet in 1995, and call on the Chinese government to release him and his family member.

Washington DC — Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration is holding official talks with US official and key members of the U.S. Congress, seeking their support in the face of recent US budget cuts to Tibetan programs in exile. He also addressed Tibetans in the U.S, saying: "As one of two key components of the Middle Way Approach, it is vital that we bolster our efforts to assert Tibet’s historical independence as a foundation for our political legitimacy.”

Dharamsala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama congratulated him on being elected Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany on Tuesday. His Holiness wrote," Today, the world is facing many challenges. I am confident that you will provide able leadership through these difficult times. I believe this co-operative spirit can be an inspiration to others, contributing to greater peace and prosperity in the world."

Dharamshala — The Tibetan film “Four Rivers, Six Ranges” has won international award for the best soundtrack award recently and Mayor of Columbia Heights, proclaim May 3, 2025, as "4 Rivers 6 Ranges Day: A Tribute to Tibetan Defiance and Dignity" in recognition of the Tibetan people's ongoing struggle for freedom, justice, and cultural preservation.
