New York — His Holiness the Dalai Lama recently underwent knee surgery and his doctors said that he was recovering very well and his recovery rate is much higher than that of other patients. His Holiness' personal doctors said in a statement: "Many people were worried that this treatment and the healing process would be very painful. However, the pain is very slight and His Holiness is now able to walk. He is getting better every day".

Dharamshala —The International Tibetan Youth Forum 2024 began in Dharamshala on Wednesday with over 90 young Tibetans from 13 countries and regions. The forum aims to strengthen Tibetan youth in the Tibetan movement, political advocacy, the Tibetan movement in the changing dynamics of global politics. The three-day forum is organised by the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).

Everyone was overjoyed at the good news. Tibetans and people around the world have been praying for the success of his knee treatment over the past days.

Washington DC — US State Department's Office of International Religious Freedom has released it's 2023 annual report on religious freedom around the world. The report states, "The CCP continued to promote Sinicization policies aimed at reinterpreting and rewriting religious doctrines to bring them (Tibetan Buddhism) into accordance with CCP ideology and emphasize loyalty to the CCP and the state. Authorities required monks and nuns to undergo political indoctrination and individuals entering monastic training to pledge loyalty to the CCP and reject “splittism.”

Dharamshala — When the bipartisan US Congressional delegation came to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the representative Jim McGovern said, “When our delegation including Nancy Pelosi visited in Tibet in 2015, we met with the Tibetans there and learned firsthand about the Chinese government's repression, it was horrible and we will never ever forget it.”

Holiness the Dalai Lama with his message of knowledge, tradition and compassion, purity of soul and love, he will live a long time and his legacy will live forever, but you President of China, you will be gone and nobody will give you credit for anything”.
