Dharamshala — Gold Mercrury International presented the Gold Mercury Award 2025 to His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet, on March 31, 2025, Dharashala, in recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace, compassion, non-violence, wisdom culture and environmental stewardship. It says, "In an era of rising conflict, division, and environmental crisis, the timeless wisdom of His Holiness the Dalai Lama is more urgent than ever."
A total of 26 members from the USA, Belgium, Italy, UK and India came to Dharamshala led by Nicolas De Santis, President of Gold Mercury International to present the Gold Mercury Award 2025 to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Nicolas De Santis, presented the Gold Mercury Award 2025 to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamsala, India, on March 31, 2025, in recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace, compassion, non-violence, wisdom culture and environmental stewardship.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama expressed his gratitude for the award and said that our life begins in the mother's womb, we have already acquired compassion and affection, without the mother's affection, we cannot survive. As soon as we are born, the mother gives us the most attention, and we ourselves also have feelings for her. Our feeling for our mother should extend to all sentient beings, then it is possible to create a peaceful world, it makes no sense to say they are our enemy, we are all brothers and sisters.
Nicolas De Santis said, "His Holiness the Dalai Lama is a symbol of peace and remains a symbol of peace, he represent non-violent in a violent world. We presented our the Gold Mercury Award 2025, an award that recognises his life's work for compassion, for the protection of the environment and for promotion the importance of the Tibetan plateau, which is the third pole of the world and which we need to protect it for humanity. Today, it is Gold Mercury International's proudest moment to present the Gold Mercury Award to His Holiness the Dalai Lama."

Gold Mercury International has announced that it will present the prestigious Gold Mercury Award for Peace and Visionary Governance 2025 to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on March 10, 2025, the Tibetan Uprising Day, in recognition of his lifelong commitment to peace, non-violence, ethical leadership, wisdom culture and environmental stewardship.
In their statement, it stated, " Gold Mercury International is privileged to bestow the Gold Mercury Award for Peace and Visionary Governance upon His Holiness, Tenzyn Giatso, the 14th Dalai Lama. This honour comes in a historic year as His Holiness marks his 90th birthday, celebrating a lifetime of unwavering commitment to peace, reconciliation, interfaith dialogue, a culture of wisdom and the protection of our planet."
