New York — Tibetan, Hong Kong, East Turkestan, South Mongolian activists and Chinese dissidents staged protests against the Chinese Communist Party on its national day, October 1, 2025. They held the protests in Taipei (Taiwan), Toronto (Canada), New York (United States), London (England), Paris (France), Australia and called on the Chinese government (CCP) to end the oppression of their brothers and sisters in Hong Kong, East Turkestan, Southern Mongolia, China, and Tibet.

Taipei — People from Tibet, Hong Kong, East Turkestan, Southern Mongolia and Taiwan protested against the Chinese Communist Party on the Chinese national day. They stated that the CCP violates the freedom, democracy and human rights of occupied peoples, oppresses its own people, colonises and extends its control over neighbouring countries and peoples. Therefore, the continued existence of the CCP regime poses a serious threat to the security and development of the global community.

Ottawa — Five Tibetans are running for Tibet, to raise awareness of the critical situation in Tibet under Chinese rule, which includes violations of the human rights and freedoms of Tibetans, destruction of the environment, construction of large dams on Tibetan rivers, arrests, imprisonments, and even killings of Tibetans who have faith in their spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Dharamshala — The 10th session of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile concluded on Thursday. During the eight days, the MPs adopted a resolution of gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a resolution of solidarity for Tibetans living in Tibet. The resolution condemned China’s sinicization policies in Tibet, including forced boarding schools for Tibetan children, restrictions on monasteries, and the suppression of Tibetan language and education.

Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama extended his sincere congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday and wished him good health. He thanked the Indian government and people for their warm and generous hospitality over the past 66 years. His Holiness stated," India presents an example of harmony and stability to the world."

Dharamshala — Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration extended their sincere congratulations to Sushila Karki on her appointment as interim Prime Minister of Nepal. Sikyong also spoke on the difficulties faced by exiled Tibetans in Nepal and expressed hope that her leadership would bring positive changes for Tibetans in the country.
