Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama granted an audience to the Sikyong and Ministers of the Central Tibetan Administration. Sikyong Penpal Tsering, Kalon (Minister) Tharlam Dolma of the Department of Education, Kalon Gyari Dolma of the Department of Security, and Kalon Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration paid tribute to His Holiness at the end of his term of office.
During their audience with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, at his residence in Dharamsala on May 26, 2026. Sikyong Penpa Tsering and Kalons Tharlam Dolma, Gyari Dolma and Norzin Dolma each paid tribute to him. In return, His Holiness granted them the status of Buddha and Tara.
Then Sikyong Penpa Tsering presented His Holiness with a summary of the work carried out over the past five years. In turn, His Holiness thanked the Sikyong and the ministers for their work for the Tibetan cause and the Central Tibetan Administration, as well as for the welfare of the Tibetan people.
His Holiness said that we came from Tibet and have lived in exile here for decades. We are entrusted not only by Tibetans inside Tibet, but also by Chinese people interested in Tibetan religion and culture. We have established a centre for Tibetan religion and culture here. We are firmly established here, and this see by the Chinese authorities.
