Tibet's exile President calls for Tibetans and supporters to light a candle
Dr Lobsang Sangay, President of Tibet's exile government urges Tibetans, friends and supporters all over the world to light a candle on May 17, 2020, to mark the 25th Anniversary of the 11th Panchen Lama Gedhun Choekyi Nyima's ’s enforced disappearance.

Dr Lobsang Sangay served as the Tibetan Prime Minister in exile from 2011 to 2021. He is the first person without a monastic background to hold this position. He was born in 1968 in a refugee community in Darjeeling, India.
