Dharamshala: - Staff journalist Kalsang Dolma from the exile Tibetan news agency “The Tibet Post International” has talked with four members of a group from Taiwan Friends of Tibet (TFOT), on current issues of Tibet and Taiwan. The delegation has spent three long weeks to explore the exiled Tibetan community based in Dharamshala, India, including cultural and educational institutions, schools, government and non-government bodies.

Dharamshala: Elected as the new president of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on 17 April 2013, Mr Henri Malosse – a French national with a vocal stance on Tibet, has an enormous role to play in the European political field. Set to adopt a strong stance on Tibet.

Dharamshala: - A 3-day emergency meeting of the international Tibet Support Groups (TSG) concluded in Dharamshala, India with an urgent appeal to the international community to press the Chinese government to find a lasting and mutually-agreeable solution to the problem of Tibet.

Dharamshala: Lobsang Tharchen is a gentle Buddhist monk who lives in Dharamshala, northern India. He resides in a small room with basic amenities: a kettle, a pot, a bed and a TV. A small window looks out onto a functional concrete courtyard.
