New York, USA — Activists from ten organizations protested against the Chinese Communist Party, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and showed how dangerous this regime is to the world on July 15, 2021.

The protest took place at Washington Square Park, New York City, USA, and around a hundred people were present for the protest. The event was organized by Project Black Mask HK, co-organized by Students for Free Tibet, Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of NY&NY, Tibet Independent Activities, Hong Kong Liberation coalition, FreeKazakhs, Burmese Community(NYCBC), Support the Democracy Movement in Burma - SDMB, Lion Rock Café, Southern Mongolian Human Rights Information Center, NY4HK - New Yorkers Supporting Hong Kong.

“The world has been waking up to the horrific humanitarian violations that the CCP has been committing to a multitude of communities. It is becoming increasingly necessary to demonstrate the danger of the CCP to the world,” mentioned a statement while highlighting how the importance of resisting the Chinese Communist Party and demonstrating to the world how dangerous this regime is.

Numerous activists from different communities presented testimonies of how the CCP violates human rights and arrests people from Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Eastern Turkestan, Hong Kong, and China who are simply exercising their fundamental rights. Chen Pokong; One of the leaders of the 1989 Chinese Democracy Movement and former political prisoner, author, television pundit, YouTuber, columnist, and political commentator. Ngawang Tashi; Tibetan Activist. Tenzin Sampho; Tibetan Activist. Rayhan Asat; Uyghur Actvist. Nay Lin Tun; Burmese democracy activist. Dr Zhiyuan Wang; President of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong.

“Tibetan, Chinese, Southern Mongolian, Falun Gong, Uyghur, Hong Kong, Thai, Burmese communities came together to educate the New York City community about how dangerous the Communist regime is. In addition, we want to show the importance of standing together united against the 2022 Beijing Olympics,” they said while explaining the aim of the protest.
