Dharamshala – His Holiness the Dalai Lama gives a two-day teaching on "Generating Bodhichitta" to young Tibetans from various colleges and Tibetan schools in India on Tuesday. His Holiness said, "Having a good heart is a source of happiness and joy for all. It enables you to sleep well. It brings you peace of mind. It is a source of lasting happiness."

Dharamshala – His Holiness the Dalai Lama attended a Long Life Prayer offered to him by the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamsala, on Wednesday. His Holiness said," I am determined to live a long life and am passionate about letting people, especially those who are not religious or interested in spiritual matters, know the importance of cultivating love and compassion and achieving peace of mind."

Dharamshala – His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, congratulates Siddaramaiah on becoming the Chief Minister of Karnataka again. His Holiness said, "I take this opportunity to wish you every success in meeting the challenges that may lie ahead in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people of Karnataka."

Dharamshala – His Holiness the Dalai Lama greeted Buddhists around the world on the occasion of the commemoration of the birth, enlightenment and mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha. He said, "on this special occasion, I urge my spiritual brothers and sisters to be warm-hearted and lead a meaningful life, to be dedicated to the welfare of others. Warm heartedness is the key to peace and harmony in the world."

Dharamshala – Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration and Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, congratulated Siddaramaiah on becoming Chief Minister of Karnataka once again and expressed their deep gratitude to him and the people of the state for the support given to the Tibetan communities and monasteries in Karnataka for over six decades.

Dharamshala – The Central Tibetan Administration and Tibetans around the world call upon the Chinese government to release the world's youngest political prisoner, the 11th Panchen Lama of Tibet, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, and urge the international community to put pressure on China to release the 11th Panchen Lama on May 17, 2023.

Gangtok – Tibetan Youth Congress held a month-long peace march from Sikkim to Assam with more than 80 activists from 17 regions in India and Nepal. They sent clear messages to G20 leaders that China’s “diplomatic assurances” are not to be trusted and urged leaders to raise the issue of the Sino-Tibetan conflict with the Chinese President at the G20 summit in September 2023.
