Dharamshala: - The spiritual leader of Tibet His Holiness The Dalai Lama's current tour of south India has seen him speak out on various topics. At the inauguration of the 80th Sivagiri Annual Pilgrimage in Kerala state on November 25, he praised Indian spirituality, noting that Tibet's historical roots are founded in India.

Dharamshala: - The spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Wednesday, 7 October, congratulated Mr Barack Obama on his re-election for second term as US president and hoped his administration would take steps to find an effective and long-lasting solution to the increasing and tragic wave of self-immolations in Tibet.

Dharamshala: -During the morning session of the first day, September 4, 2012, His Holiness the Dalai Lama began his three day teaching on Shantideva's "A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" at the main Tibetan Temple in Dharamshala, India. His Holiness will continue from the 5th chapter of Shantideva's book.

Dharamshala: In a wide ranging, and at times humorous talk, at the all India support group for Tibet conference at the TIPA institute, McLeodganj, on 9th June, 2012 the spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama touched on topics of both historical and contemporary interest concerning Tibet, India, Asia and indeed the World.

Prague: - "Tibetan people inside Tibet are our boss, we [Tibetans in exile] are their free spokesperson," said the spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama after meeting with senior and former Czech politicians, including Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg in Prague, the Czech capital.

Dharamshala, India: - On 29th November 1956, on the occasion of the 2500th anniversary of the Buddha's Parinirvana, I had the opportunity to meet Indian leaders and Buddhist representatives from many countries here in New Delhi. At that time I gave a detailed account of the historical development of Buddhism in Tibet and the unique Indo-Tibetan relationship. Since then the world, including India and Tibet, has witnessed many changes and so have the Buddhist traditions in different countries.

Tokyo, Japan: - The spiritual head of Tibet and Tibetan people, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at the last leg of his 10-ten days visit to Japan was met by a group of Japanese Lawmakers at the hotel this morning. The group headed by the former Prime Minister Mr. Shinzo Abe greeted His Holiness the Dalai Lama and expressed gratitude for visiting the earthquake, tsunami and radiation affected regions, and for his encouraging and condolence message to the grief stricken people in the region. The lawmakers also expressed their support for His Holiness middle path approach to solve the Tibet issue and expressed their concern about the deteriorating situation in Tibet.

My fellow Tibetans, both in and outside Tibet, all those who follow the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and everyone who has a connection to Tibet and Tibetans: due to the foresight of our ancient kings, ministers and scholar-adepts, the complete teaching of the Buddha, comprising the scriptural and experiential teachings of the Three Vehicles and the Four Sets of Tantra and their related subjects and disciplines flourished widely in the Land of Snow.

Washington, DC:  - The US House of Representatives passed a resolution on 6 July welcoming His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Washington, DC, and recognising his commitment to world peace and a mutually beneficial solution to the issue of Tibet through dialogue with the Chinese Government.
