Dharamshala, India — A young Tibetan woman has won the prestigious America TV award, the Emmy for a category in video production on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The young woman has raised a patriotic Tibetan slogan in her acceptance speech at the award ceremony.

Dharamshala – The 7th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) 2018 concluded in the Himalayan town of McLeod Ganj, in northern India, on November 5, 2018 with screening dependent features, documentaries and short films, including Aijaz Khan’s Hamid.

Deputy Speaker of Tibetan Parliament in Exile Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok yesterday launched a book of interviews with exiled Tibetan women writers and their works titled “Women who hold the book” at the Tibet Post International office in Mcleod Ganj.
