New Delhi — During the Tibetan parliamentary delegation's visits in New Delhi, Tibetan MPs urged Indian MPs: 'Internationally, Tibet has garnered the support of many countries in the world, including the recent "Resolve Tibet Act" in the United States. We urge you to adopt a bill similar to the Resolve Tibet Act in India, affirming the right of the Tibetan people to self-determination in accordance with international law.'

Dharamshala — Chinese government is systematically eliminating Tibetan identity by arresting educated Tibetans, translating Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan textbooks into Chinese, banning the publication of Tibetan books, forcefully shutting down Tibetan schools, forced Tibetan children into Chinese boarding schools. Therefore, Tibetans both inside Tibet and in exile are extremely worried by China's Sinicisation policy in Tibet, and 100 educated Tibetans in exile sent an appeal to the UN and urge it to call on China to end the forced closure of Tibetan schools.

Dharamshala — On International Justice Day, Tibetan activists from eight NGOs and Tibetans around the Dharamshala held a solidarity candlelight vigil at Main Square, McLeod Ganj , Dharamshala, on July 17, 2024, to condemn China's forced closure of the renowned Gangjong Sherig Norbuling School in Golog, Tibet recently and the Chinese Communist Party's systematic violations of human rights in Tibet as well as to stand in solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet.

Dharamshala — On the day of Trulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche's unjust death in Chinese prison, the Rinpoche's students and followers organised a memorial event for the Rinpoche to commemorate his significant contributions to Tibetan religion, culture, language, environment and education, as well as the launch of a book about the Rinpoche entitled <<The Truth Told by Nyima Lhamo>> by Rinpoche's niece in Dharamshala on July 12, 2024.

Dharamshala — Tibetans and human rights activists on Wednesday commemorated the 37th anniversary of the United Nations Convention against Torture and called on the Chinese government to conduct a transparent investigation into the death of Trulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche and prosecute Chinese officials responsible for his torture and death.

Dharamshala — A 64 year old Tibetan man concluded his bicycle rally in Dharamshala on Monday, to raise awareness about the critical situation in Tibet, where the Chinese government aims to eradicate the very identity of Tibetans from the root through indoctrination in colonial-style boarding schools.
