First Tibet Group meeting of 2017 held in European Parliament

Dharamshala — The first Tibet Interest Group meeting of 2017 was held in the European Parliament on January 25th, 2017. The meeting was chaired by the Tibet Interest Group President Mr. Thomas Mann MEP, and was attended by Members of European Parliaments (MEPs), including Csaba Sógor, László T?kés, Nathalie Griesbeck, Tunne Kelam, along with around 16 Parliamentary assistants.

Dharamshala — A year after his imprisonment, the fate of Tashi Wangchuk, an entrepreneur and language advocate, remains unknown, as international human rights groups are calling on China to drop charges against him after he was indicted by court officials this month for “inciting separatism.”
