Dharamshala: Australian politicians are joining the ranks of foreign government who go against China’s rhetoric that Tibet is part of China.  Next month the first ever delegation Australian parliament members will meet with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, other high level officials from Tibetan government in exile and be with the holy man when he celebrates is 74th birthday on July 6.

Paris: Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama was officially made an honorary citizen of Paris on 7 June, despite fierce opposition from Chinese government. "I receive this distinction as a human being to defend human values, peace and non-violence," His Holiness said as he accepted the title.

Dharamshala: Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has issued a message for the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre, His Holiness sai. "On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square students’ democracy movement, along with others who take an interest in Chinese affairs, I respectfully honour those who died expressing the popular demand for the government to be more accountable to its people.

Paris: Tibet's spiritual His Holiness the Dalai Lama spoke to reporters on 6 June that a "death sentence" on Tibet by Chinese authorities, as he arrived in Paris for a visit that has once again made his best efforts for Tibetan cause and Chinese democrat movement. The Tibetan spiritual leader is also to be named an honorary citizen of the French capital despite warnings from the Chinese government.

Dharamshala: Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the the Dalai Lama of Tibet, is in the Netherlands for a three day visit. On Wednesday, His Holiness the Dalai Lama was in conversation with students on the TV show The College Tour by NOVA. The spiritual leader spoke to a group of 300 students, some of them are of Chinese descent. The subjects covered are the relationship between China and Tibet and criticism of young people in Tibet on his peaceful struggle.

Paris: US business man, Mr. Lawrence has spent 15 years working in telecommunications in China says "China is incredible, in every city in China there is a master switch and if they choose, 'blam’ they shut off all communication, no internet, no cell service, no landline, nothing.  Despite loosening controls the Chinese government still possesses these master switches.”  Foreign press freedom watch dog based in Paris, 'Reporter Without Borders’ (RSF) documents the censorship that surrounds the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre of 4th June, and the ruthless suppression of China’s prodemocracy movement.
