Taipei — The newly formed Taiwan Parliament Group for Tibet said Wednesday that they will continue to support Tibetan cause and they urge the government of Taiwan to make a clear statement in support of a visit by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the 1989 Nobel Peace laureate without any restriction from China.

Washington, D.C. – The Senate Finance Subcommittee hearing of June 30, 2020, highlighted the need for American policymakers to review their approach toward China’s censorship, as well as the self-censorship practiced by American entities trading with China.

Brussels – As the European Union prepares to hold its annual summit with China next week, the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) urges the EU leaders to use this opportunity to demand concrete improvements on human rights in Tibet and to reiterate at the highest level their call for reciprocal access to Tibet.

New York— A large number of Indian Americans organised a protest demonstration against China at the iconic Times Square on July 03, 2020. They were also joined by members of the Tibetan Community and Taiwanese Americans and supporters. At the beginning of the protest, a Tibetan Monk led a Buddhist prayer to pay tribute to the courage of the Indian soldiers and offer our condolences to the bereaved families.

Dharamshala — The new security law passed by the communist-authoritarian assembly in China criminalises any act of secession, subversion, terrorism, or collusion with foreign forces. Within minutes, the effect was obvious, Hongkonger democracy activists in Hong Kong began to quit, fearful of the new law, and the punishment it allows.
