Dharamshala, India — To honor His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his 85th birthday, the India based Tibetan government in-Exile highly praised the extraordinary achievements of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, which spans across the globe and the great accomplishments of the Tibetan people, in and outside Tibet.

Dharamshala, India —While warmly applauding the U.S. Congress for a historical bill to recognize Tibet as an independent country, the Students for a Free Tibet, and the Tibetan Youth Congress urge the US lawmaker Scott Perry, to include the whole of Tibet in the new Tibet bill.

Dharamshala, India — "The disappearance of the Panchen Lama is not only an injustice to one person, but it is an injustice to six million Tibetans and their right to religious freedom," the Tibetan government in-Exile said Sunday to mark on the 25th Anniversary of the Enforced Disappearance of the young Tibetan monk.

Geneva— A Tibetan man, living in Switzerland, father of two sons, started his solo march from his house in Zurich, on May 27, then walked through Luzern, Bern, Fribourg, and Geneva, it took him nine days and covered around 279 km walking. His peace walk is part of the movement calling for immediate action on China's handling of Coronavirus, which caused catastrophe to the world.

Dharamshala, India — Tibetan President Dr Lobsang Sangay thanked U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for consistently supporting the issue of Tibet and raising a strong voice for the 11th Panchen Lama who was kidnapped by Chinese authoritarians in 1995, at the age of 6.

Dharamshala, India — The Central Tibetan Administration previously known as the Government of Tibet said it is organising a virtual panel discussion and a global candlelight vigil to remember the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, on the day of his disappearance.
