Dharamsala: Six members representing four parties of Nepali Parliament paid a visit to Dharamsala, India where the Tibetan government in exile is based for the last 50 years. During the yesterday's press-conference the delegation expressed its intention to soon held a discussion on the rights of Tibetan refugees in the constitution of Nepal.

Dharamshala: Upwards of 3000 students laughed as His Holiness focused his attention on the three individuals in front of him debating in the Buddhist philosophy.  The audience was comprised of Tibetan youth from various schools and colleges across India, they crowded into the auditorium to listen to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 3rd Introductory discourse on Buddhism.

Dharamshala: The welfare society of Central Dhokham Chushi Gang Druk, was founded 50 years ago. The anniversary celebration was concluded on June 16 in Delhi at the Tibetan Sanye Ling settlement; ceremonies began with a moment of silence and guests singing the national anthem. The chief guests included former Justice commission of Tibet exile government Shadur Sonam Sangpo, former speaker of Tibetan Parliament in exile Mr. Karma Choephel and a representative of Tibetan parliament, Geshe Tse Ringpo.

Dharamshala: Sunday concluded the three day Tibetan film festival in Dharamshala, northern India where Tibetan government in exile based for past 50 years.  The event was organized by the Delhi-based The Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in collaboration with Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration.  The collection of films represent multiple aspects of Tibetan culture, religion, and the political situation inside of Tibet.

Dharamshala: Under the organization of Yungdrung Bon religion committee the 10th round of debates on ancient Tibetan religion (Yungdrong Bon) was held in Menri monastery from 14th to the 21st of this month. The debate was organized during school holiday to enable 130 students from colleges across India to attended. The intention of the forum was to encourage better understanding of the Tibetan Bon religion among the younger Tibetan generations.

Dharamshala: Hundreds of people crowed in main performance hall at Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, not to enjoy a song or dance show, but to attend a political discussion today. Tibetan Women's Association, GuChuSumm, Students for a free Tibet, and Phayul news agency, conducted a panel to discuss how the Tibetan community in exile will choose the next Prime Minister.

Dharamshala: The 15th Tibetan Football Gold Cup tournament (Gyalyum Chenmo), began 31th May, hit the closing stages yesterday at Upper TCV, in Dharamsala, India. In the finals  Potola football club from Mungod, sout India was pitted against Tibetan student association from Chennai.   Potola F.C. was took the cup, in the 4-3 victory.
